Hi
I had my interview on December 12 at 9:15am. We were there 15 minutes before my interview.
The office was super nice, asked me following questions:
- Who is the petitioner?
- Where do he live?
- Where and How did you guys met, just tell briefly.
- Marriage date.
- If you have done any crime?
- Travel in the last five years outside canada and USA?
- Longest stay in USA.
It took like 2 minutes max. My interview was very to the point. He then asked me if I got the domestic violence pamphlet.
He was typing the entire time on the computer while I was answering.
Finally he told me "I intend to approve your visa". He said he would try to print it today, if not today then definitely tomorrow. I was super happy, he could see that on my face, he even passed me a huge smile and said congratulations.
I checked the status the very next day, it was "ready".
- Got an email from Canada post on 13 December that my parcel was picked up. It was ready to pick up on December 14. I was still in Montreal at that time. Got back to Vancouver quite late, so we picked it up on 15 December.
