  1. 1. Yes, I am aware of this, and I already uploaded everything requested to CEAC, and sent them copies. 2. I do not think the embassy will contact me since there is still a pending issue about providing my dad's cert - which does not make sense. Since, my mom already uploaded the death cert to CEAC, and it still shows submitted. Maybe, I should wait a bit.
  2. Yes, I even asked my mom to get my dad's death cert from PSA. Once my mom had the doc on hand, she uploaded the death cert to CEAC. I have no idea why CEAC still sent me this message: Please replace this with an acceptable divorce, annulment, or death certificate from a correct issuing authority. Please use our Document Finder at https://nvc.state.gov/find for acceptable documents guidelines."
  3. My mom's I-130 got approved, and I submitted all the requests, but there is an issue with the death certificate of my father. We have the original copy of my dad's death certificate from Philippine Statistic's Office. The issue now is NVC keeps sending me, "Please replace this with an acceptable divorce, annulment, or death certificate from a correct issuing authority. Please use our Document Finder at https://nvc.state.gov/find for acceptable documents guidelines." It does not make sense because my mom's previous marriage (1st marriage) is of my dad's, which proves that the marriage ended in the death of my dad. I messaged CEAC, thinking maybe I can redo her DS260, and they just told me: We received your inquiry regarding missing, incomplete, or incorrect information on the DS-260 (Online Immigrant Visa Application and Registration Form) submitted online. Unfortunately we are unable to reopen the form for corrections at this time. At the time of the applicant's interview, you may notify the consular officer of any information which you were unable to modify in the DS-260 form. In CEAC, all documents have been successfully accepted online, except my dad's death certificate, which has a note "Submitted" and no other update. Please advise, thank you.
  4. Thank you. Would this conflict what was typed in I-130? Or should be fine?
  5. Hello, my mother’s I-130 got approved, and I just paid the Affidavit of Support & Title IV fees on the NVC website when I got the MNL case ID. I have noticed that on the name, they dropped my mom’s middle name on the NVC website. For example, I put her full name in the I-130 as Maria Jane Diaz. I put “Jane” as her middle name. My mom’s passport has “Maria Jane” as her Given name. Her middle name is “Gonzales” (her maiden name), and her last name is “Diaz” Now, I have a sister who has an EB3 visa pending. She told me that mom’s middle name should have been “Gonzales” not “Jane” because my mom may have issue at her interview at the embassy. Would this be an issue? Since, the I-130 only have Maria Jane Diaz, without her maiden name as middle name? I have not submitted the DS260, yet. Should I just call NVC for clarification? Thanks
  6. Thank you for the information. Another question, there is an employer who is willing to offer a job. Can the employer apply H1B while she in the U.S.?
  7. I just want to ask if someone can adjust from a tourist visa to an F-3 (in the U.S.). The parent is in the U.S. and is willing to apply for the married daughter while she is in the U.S. under a B-2 visa. If her parents file I-130 for her and AOS, can she stay in the U.S.? while on a tourist visa, can she file for an extension, or does she need to go back to her home country while petition is in process. Thank you in advance.
  8. Hello everyone, I am a U.S. Citizen, and I have just filed a I-130 online for my mom. I am unemployed at this time but my husband will be my joint sponsor. I uploaded evidences and other docs for my parent and I via the USCIS website when I filed the petition. However, the online process does not have option to submit the Affidavit of Support, so I did not upload anything. I wonder if USCIS will send me a request for the Affidavit of Support online or via mail. Anyone have the same experience? Thank youInsert other media
  9. Update: My ex-husband signed the vaccination waiver. The I-601 Application for Waiver of Grounds of Inadmissibility has been approved together with the I-130 and AOS.
  10. Hello everyone, I am a U.S. citizen and have pending applications (I-130, II-485, and I-600) for my minor child. His biometrics was taken last year and we are now just waiting for approval. Now, I am getting married this month. Would this affect the pending applications since I put my status as divorced on the applications? Also, do I need to submit any forms to update my status to USCIS?
  11. Hello everyone, I am curious if I can submit another green card application. I am a U.S. Citizen, and I have just submitted I-130 and I-485, for my minor child. But I really want to apply for my mom who is outside the U.S. I am not sure if USCIS allow two I-130 application (1 pending for approval). Thank you.
