We met on yahoo in an NHL chat room! Kayleigh is an avid Columbus Blue Jackets fan and Kyle is an Edmonton Oilers fan! Kayleigh frequented this hockey chat room, and Kyle happened to come in one day while a friend of hers was replaying an old Columbus game against the Vancouver Canucks. Kyle came into the room and, being the supporter of all that is Canadian, said "Go Vancouver!" Kayleigh decided to PM him and explain to him that the game was old and wasn't actually happening and Columbus went on to win the game. We started discussing hockey and then more personal and became interested in each other. Kyle sent Kayleigh a dozen roses for her birthday which was a week after we began talking and he won her over! She went to meet him in person in Calgary, Alberta just over a month after they met online and we knew it was meant to be!
