  1. Hi! First of all, do not panick! You've already made it through the hardest part. Second, your interview letter is most likely going to come in on February 28th or March 1st. We had to wait for more than a month to get it too. (DQ on 10/27, IL on 11/30). When I researched the scheduling patterns, I came to conclusion that they only send letters once a month at the end of the month. So just sit tight and it's coming soon.
  2. Thank you, you were right - he did go to the deferred inspection site today and got his stamp!
  3. Hello, My husband just entered the US as a new lawful permanent resident (F2A category) and is waiting for his card to be mailed. He has received his SSN and wanted to make an appointment at the DMV for his driving test. The online system requested a scan of his passport with STAMPED visa, which he does not have - in fact, they stopped stamping passports upon entry in some ports (https://ogletree.com/insights/cbp-expands-pilot-program-eliminating-entry-stamps-on-admission-to-the-united-states/). Does it make sense to go to DMV and ask in person? Or shall he try to get the stamp from USCIS through infopass at the local office? Or just sit and wait for his green card? P.S. We live in California if that matters Thank you!
  4. My husband interviewed on 01/06. Everything went very smooth, the whole "interview" took about 1 minute. He got his passport back in 3 working days. Good luck!
  5. Hi! It's the courier depot working hours that I'm wondering about. Thanks!
  6. Hello, our visa was approved on 01/06 at the London consulate and we received an email saying it's ready for pickup starting from 01/11. However, it does not specify their opening times. Anybody knows what they are? Thanks!
  7. Hi! From our experience, there is no wait time and interviews get scheduled within a few weeks after DQ. Letters get sent out at the end of each month so your wait time will depend on when you get your DQ. Good luck!
  8. Hi! I was in exactly the same situation as your husband. I was getting worried and called USCIS to schedule an Infopass appointment where I received my I-551. As for the 24 month NOA, they finally mailed it to me one month after the 18-month one expired. So now I have both!
