If you haven't already heard it....I met my frog Prince in Moab, Utah on a fateful movie night. We spent some time together the LAST week I was in town and then I jetted off to California and then to Florida. We surprisingly kept in touch and talked for up to 7 hours sometimes on the phone at night. Dylan was there for me when my grandmother in Florida passed away. He then ventured to Florida! He took a big risk by taking that trip and put in a lot of miles. The same day he landed, we jumped in the ocean and just a couple hours later jumped on a greyhound bus to NOLA for a few days. We fell in love quickly and he proposed to me! I said no, not yet! A couple days later we were requested by my mom to help her move to Florida from California, so we flew to the West Coast for a couple of weeks. While there, Dylan proposed again, and again I said it just didn't feel right yet. I pointed out a bridge I'd always called my "marriage bridge" that is one of the venice canal bridges in Marina Del Rey, that is off the beaten path. He proposed once more there a couple nights later, and I said YES! We were really excited. We helped my mom pack up and then drove across the USA in a van with my mom, dog, and two cats, staying in pretty bad motels along the way. It was rough. We then lived together for about a month in Pensacola, FL. He left January 6th, 2020 and we haven't gotten to see each other face to face since then. I don't know if Dylan knew what he was getting into coming to America on a solo bike tour but he's coming back now for another reason! I hope we can bike tour together and all the other fun stuff I'm excited to do together.
