  1. Is it necessary to buy a roundtrip ticket for the flight entering the US after the interview to obtain the green card? We, of course, only want a one way but I am not sure if there is a problem checking in for the flight in Ecuador when we don't technically get the green card until going through immigrations in the US.
  2. Okay, thank you, that's good to know. I really don't understand why Ecuador has expirations are their own documents that have static dates. I guess so we have to pay money each time.
  3. Do we need to go to Registro Civil to get new copies of various docs such as the inscripción de nacimiento, inscripcion de matrimonio with the stamp on the back? Of course they were approved by the NVC but all of those docs are only valid for 60 days. When I uploaded them to the NVC it was within the 60 days, but now it is well past the 60 days. Or do I bring the originals that I uploaded to the NVC?
  4. Do we need every single Ecuadorian document translated to English before the interview? I am surprised the NVC would accept the documents if they were not "interview-ready."
