I don’t know what your nationality is but I wouldn’t hold off any trips abroad because of pending apps. As much as I hate getting the visa appointment and the process leading towards it I don’t want to waste valuable time till I apply and become US citizen. Think about how much fun you miss out on because you think it will easier later rather than enjoying it now. Just my 2 cents.

I am little too old to sponsor anyone from family and see them migrate to US. The wait times are ridiculous and being US citizen will never help anyone. So my goal is to be able to live here and be able to visit any place including home any time without a hassle.

I envy people who can say this (I assume your passports give you more or less similar access if you have to travel and not deal with visas for most part). If I could, I would want dual citizenship but oh well....

That’s true. Got the I-751 just a couple of weeks ago and now the approval.

Just got a notification for I-751. New card is being produced. I think it’s an approval so that’s one part of the journey I can forget about.

I thought the fastest was WAC and not SRC. of course now WAC is 18months or something on avg.

At this point I think they want people to apply for N-400 (that's just my opinion)

I think the 48 month extension is what is in the mail. No other status changed for the case.

WAC went from 14 months to 15.5 months. Just send out the extensions if they are going to keep increasing the time. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Who are these people who are getting 48 month extension? People close to their 2 year mark or just about everyone?

I get it and I just had to voice my frustration to be honest. I understand that there is no order in which USCIS processes any cases and there is nothing we can do. The day I get out of this system I would be very happy. Heck I always say if someone has been in US legally and worked here for 10 years, just make these candidates go through background check and grant them a green card (if they wish to apply) and remove this visa issuance for family members. Make it easy for people who have put in time and money for this country (this has nothing to do with people with DACA and I have no idea how to resolve that issue so I refrain from voicing my opinion on that one.)

I am just going to say this out loud, screw USCIS for not processing items in order.
