  1. Hello, I am a bit confused. When filing I-751 for my spouse to remove conditions, are we also supposed to pay for biometric fees? When i look up the filing fee, it doesn't state biometric fee
  2. Hello, I just want to thank this group a lot of the all the useful information and tips that i have received. We are filing 3 months late, but not able to find a letter template. Is the below letter enough? --------------------- I am writing this letter to inform you that we are deeply sorry and very frustrated that we have missed the deadline to file Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence. The year 2023 was both a blessing and a stressful year for our family. My wife, Gordana, was pregnant throughout the year, and our baby, Zoe, was born on December 28, 2023. This joyous event coincided with the period when we should have started the process to submit Form I-751. However, we became very busy and occupied with taking care of our newborn child. Zoe was born with torticollis, which required numerous medical appointments and constant care. This condition kept us worried and preoccupied, making it difficult to focus on other responsibilities. Nevertheless, having Gordana maintain her legal permanent resident status is extremely important to us. We deeply regret missing the deadline and sincerely apologize for this oversight. We respectfully request that you accept our apology and consider our late filing. We hope that you will consider our circumstances and allow us to keep our family together
  3. Yes totally aware of that. I will be staying here and i will mail the actual receipt overseas so she can present it on the way back to USA. I am just concerned if CBP can terminate the residency at the airport if they find out GC expired and no extension letter.
  4. Long story short, we messed up and did not file i751 in time. We filed the i751 with an explanation letter and waiting on the receipt (if accepted). Can the wife leave the USA with an expired GC and no extension letter. I understand the risks involved, but my main question if CBP will allow it?
