We met in a yahoo chat room in April of 2004.We talked on the computer and phone daily for two years until we finally met in person. My first trip to India was in April of 2006. I'm not gonna lie about that plane ride...I was SCARED!! LOL! I knew i had my reward waiting for me so i knew i could do it.
It's so hard to explain the emotions i was feeling when i first layed eyes on him. I couldn't believe it, after two long years i'm finally seeing him face to face. When we starting talking it was as if i had known him all my life. I was so excited and happy!!!!
I stayed there for a month so i got to see many neat places. We saw the Taj and red fort of course. It was dang hot then so he took me to the mountains (naintal) to get some relief.
My time had come to leave and it was really really a rough time for me. Walking away from him and not knowing when i would see him again. I cried on the plane and really let it out when i got home. IT WAS BAD!!
I filed for a k1 within 10 days of being home.It took about 8 months from sending it in until the interview. He ended up getting a 221g and needed to submit additional documents (voters list and some other crazy stuff) About 2 wks after he submitted that stuff he got a letter that his passport was ready for pick up. That is a day and phone call i will never forget!! Our petition was being sent back to uscis. I was freaking out!! It took a few days for us to calm down and decide our next move. We came to a decision that i would come to india again and get married and then file a k3. Off i went again in february of 07. I stayed that time for about 3 weeks, then came back and filed the k3. It took about 8 months to get the interview and I was a little smarter this time...I went back to India the third time to attend his interview. I was sure i wouldnt be allowed to stand at the window with my husband but i walked up with him anyway just so the officer could see me. The officer said "It is sure great that you came but i need to interview him alone...so if you could please take a seat." He did end up getting a 221g for administrative processing. That took 5 months to clear and he finally got the visa. He will be in the states in less than 3 weeks!!!!!!!! What a rough ride we had. I thought it would never end. I just wanna start our life together!! When i see him at the airport, it will be the happiest day of my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry if my story was too long but i wanted to tell it all.
