  1. Yes, thank you. This was also our major concern, especially after experiencing all the delays during Covid time. You'll never know what can happen then.
  2. Are you filing under the 3-year rule? I'm thinking of filing as well but I saw some posts here where they said it was less hassle to file under the 5-yr rule.
  3. I just did biometrics last week for I-751. They only took my picture and one fingerprint. I always had problems with my fingerprint and I remember the last time I was at USCIS, I saw some fingers had Xs but the officer just kept on trying till after I think about 10 mins. Nothing to worry about. Just make sure you fill out the 2nd page of the form and have an ID ready when you get to the office.
  4. You can check my ROC timeline below. I received my extension letter 2 weeks after the online access code letter.
  5. I was scheduled for bio appt but on the day it was scheduled, I will not be available. Was able to reschedule it for next week via the website they indicated on the bio appt letter. After probably 10-15 mins, I got confirmation and my online account showed a new appointment letter with my preferred schedule for printing. I guess this was also one of the perks of them creating online accounts for us. I thought I had to call/ chat with someone to help me reschedule
  6. A state ID. My GC will expire in Oct but I'm planning to do this by next week.
  7. May I know how? Was it like a consular outreach? I live in NYC but as per the website, I need to email the documentary requirements first for assessment.
  8. I need to report my marriage to the Phil Embassy. However, I saw that one of their requirements is a valid passport: "Valid Passports or IDs of Husband & Wife Submit one (1) original and 3 notarized copies or 4 notarized copies if the original is not available Valid passports or IDs of HUSBAND and WIFE who is filing the application." Unfortunately, my passport is expired (which is why I needed to do ROM first THEN renew my passport. Does anyone know if I should just go ahead and submit the expired passport? Thank you.
  9. I just checked and it does say "VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION".
  10. Yeah, I think so too. Learned my lesson not to overshare next time. I do have a state ID and the 2-yr conditional gc.
  11. OMG yes. I'm sorry. My mind was still in shock that I got rejected for this volunteer position. And I also forgot how to edit my post as I haven't been here since I got my GC 2 years ago. I told them that my GC won't expire till Oct which is why I went ahead and renewed it (did not explain the 90-day rule since she said she will ask their lawyer about it). I didn't want to continue the convo anymore since it was voluntary so I didn't want to spend another day explaining to her the wonderful immigration system we have here. I just realized that the reason why a lot of immigrants apply to big companies is because they have the resources to deal with immigrants like us. But then, no one's really hiring
  12. I got accepted for remote (office admin) volunteer work because I told them that I just applied for my green card renewal. I am currently job hunting and I wanted to know if anyone got discriminated against as well for an actual job while having their ROC (I-751) processed. It's a new consultant company consisting of 2 people as of the moment with no actual clients yet but they needed volunteers to help with admin tasks. Since I have been having a hard time finding a hybrid/ remote job in NYC, I thought of applying. Didn't think I would be rejected like this, lol.
