I received an email. And when I checked online on the USCIS site - nothing had changed. But a few hours later the status changed to approved.

Finally the green card got approved without an interview. Hope other may applicants get approved soon.

Actually we got the combo card approved - so both EAD and Travel. This is not so evident on the USCIS page but when accessing the documents regarding the approval - it said specifically the employment and advanced parole. (now just waiting for green card but functionally, we can work and travel now) I know I didn't have to send the medical but after i got an e-mail requesting it - i just didnt want to "ignore" something so ... whether its coincidence or not - i am glad that the EAD and AP finally got approved.

Update. We sent in a medical I-693 on 3/1 even though we didn’t need to do it because we were under the K1 visa. They received it 3/2 and today on 3/7 the i-765 employment authorization was approved. So it’s something. No word on the green card or travel. I hope the travel is approved soon also.

Congrats. Did you get an email beforehand asking for I-693? And did you ignore it?

Two questions then: was this email sent in error and I should ignore (have you guys received one?) and will it hurt if I do the medical and send it in anyways?

The medical was done in Brazil. The email message did say if we are a K1 visa holder to ignore but the K1 expired 90 days after entry of course and I thought it wouldn’t hurt to do the medical anyways and send it in.

Got this email today. We are transitioning from K1 visa and the medical for the K1 was in October 2021. So I am guessing that whatever health forms I submitted are now expired. Will get the medical done next week and let’s see what happens. Hello everyone. this is my first time posting on this sub. We filed in may 2022; biometrics in June and since then ... absolute silence. We did not use a lawyer. I have not received any RFEs. I am wondering for those who did get approved - did you use a lawyer? Is there any value in hiring a lawyer now ? Thanks in advance.
