    I don’t mind at all. I told her i wanted to use the US citizen lane when coming back in the country, so my husband and I can use the citizens lane which moves faster. I also told her I thought it would be easier for me in my career to be a US citizen. And lastly I told her I want to be able to vote so my opinion can matter and make a difference.

    The Denver office is doing same-day ceremonies until the election. So if your interview is before Nov. 4th you can naturalize the same day!!!! I just have my interview and ceremony today and this is the info the officer gave us.

    I had my interview today and just wanted to share my experience with everyone. My interview was scheduled for 8:15. At about 8:30 the officer called me in for the interview. My husband and I were both allowed to be present. The officer did the civics and English test first which I passed. She then reviewed my application to make sure all the information was accurate. I realized I had forgotten to mention one of my jobs, but she simply made a note of it. She also added a couple of dates since I had traveled abroad twice since submitting my application. Some questions she asked were if my husband and I want to have kids, if we plan to buy a house, if we owe any taxes and at the end, she asked why I want to become a US citizen. If you interview in Denver: they have same-day naturalization available daily till the election!!! I was so happy when she told me I could naturalize the same day, the ceremony was at 10 AM so I only had to wait one hour for it. They are doing same-day ceremonies till the election so people can go ahead and vote. The ceremony was small but beautiful. As soon as we left, I went ahead and registered to vote, and I also went to USPS and applied for my passport and passport card. Overall the interview vibe was relaxed, the officer joked a few times and we had a lot of casual conversation. This is by far the easiest interview I had in my entire immigration journey.

    I just got the letter uploaded to my account. The interview is scheduled for Thursday, Oct 24, at 8:15 AM. I wonder if it will be one of the first interviews of the day—time to start studying the 100 questions. How early should I arrive? Is 30 minutes early appropriate?

    I just got the notification that my interview was scheduled!!!! The email came in just a couple of minutes ago, and the exact letter with the date has not yet been uploaded to my USCIS account, but I will update everyone once I find out when my interview will be.

    I just checked and there are no updates so far. Based on what others from the Denver office reported here, I expect to hear from USCIS by the end of October or November.

    I completely forgot to list a job on my application, so you are not the only one if that makes you feel better. I haven’t submitted anything about it tho, I plan to just explain at the interview. Now I am wondering if I should also attach a letter?

    I see June filers are starting to get their interviews scheduled for September. Fingers crossed, we get our interviews scheduled soon as well.

    My husband and I got married in the US while i was on a J1 visa with no issues. I returned back to my home country once my J1 visa run out and filed both a CR-1 and a K3 from my home country. The process went very smoothly for us.

    Hello everyone! I filed on July 1st under the 3 years rule. Immediately i got the NOA online and notice my biometrics have been reused. I understand that Denver doesn’t do oath ceremonies on the same day anymore? How long did you guys wait after the interview for the oath ceremony to be scheduled? Also does anyone have any experience with rescheduling the interview/ceremony? I have a trip planned for October and I want to be prepared just in case it overlaps.

    Yesterday I also received the notice that my biometrics have been reused. I'm really happy right now bc that is one less appointment I have to go to.

    Does anyone have any experience with getting married in the US and later registering the marriage in Romania? My husband and I got married in Tennessee almost 5 years ago, but I never filed any paperwork in Romania to change my status to married or register the marriage. I heard I need an apostille on our marriage certificate, but I am unsure how to get it or how long it takes.
