2005-07-13: First met on an online mailing list, shortly after Tiara joined.
2005-08-28: Started writing off-list.
2005-12-22: Winter Solstice "declaration of friendship", where we (more or less) affirmed that we were each among the other's best friends.
2005-12-27: The Dream. At this point we discovered that we had mutual attraction. :-)
Getting together...
2005-12-29: Nic (one of my best friends) was the first to know about our upcoming relationship.
2006-01-29: Official start of relationship.
2006-04-14: First real-life meeting at Montgomery, AL, where I stayed for a week and a half. (Okay, so we actually met at Birmingham airport, but still.)
2006-06-16: Tiara arrived in Auckland. We lived in motels for a week while we hunted for a flat to move into.
Getting married...
2006-06-18: Unofficial start of engagement.
2006-06-21: Official start of engagement (Winter Solstice).
2006-06-23: Moved into our current flat.
2006-12-21: Wedding on Summer Solstice at Narrow Neck Beach, North Shore; Nic was my maid of honour. Very small and private event, just 10 guests.

2007-01-23: Newly implemented Adam Walsh Child Protection Act put a major damper on our plans to file DCF.
2007-06-05: After learning that Tiara would still not be eligible for DCF, we posted off our I-130 application to TSC (via International Economy Courier---delivery time 4 to 6 days).
2007-06-11: Package signed for at Mesquite by M. Salcedo.
2007-06-21: NOA1 notice date---case redirected to CSC.
2007-06-24: (touch)
2007-06-25: NOA1 postmark date, and cheque for application fee cashed.
2007-06-29: NOA1 received.
