  1. We received the notice last week saying the application was approved and that the card is being produced. We were not expecting all this to be over that quickly! Next step is the N400 I guess, does anybody know what to expect in terms of processing times?
  2. That's right I present my GC to the agent when coming back to the US (along with the passport, and the extension letter when my GC is expired). I never had to enter any info for check-in though (my wife does it for us and I believe she only uses the passport info), is that an issue? Never had to enter GC info for check-in, I'm wondering if this is based on the country (Canadian passport)
  3. I see that the expired GC can be an issue with online check-in. Mine is about to expired, but I already travelled multiple times and used my passport as a travel document. When coming back to the US, I show both my passport and GC, which works great. My question is: are we required to use the GC card as the travel document? Seems like using my passport after my GC expires would be way less trouble (would still present both expired GC and extension letter to border agents). Thanks
  4. When did you receive your biometrics appointment letter? Our application was received on the 27th of June, and notice date is 4th of July but we did not receive anything for biometrics yet (we received NOA and access code though)
  5. We sent our package on June 24th and just received the extension letter I-797 today (Phoenix center). Is there other letters we can expect from USCIS as well? I thought there were 3 notices for some reason, including one that says if the biometrics are being reused or not.
  6. Just received the text from USCIS today on June 30th, we sent the package on June 24th with USPS with priority mail 🎉. We're hoping they will re-use my biometrics and send us the extension letter soon. After that, what would be the next step? I understand it's a lengthy process and I will be able to apply for the citizenship even though the I-751 application might not be processed yet.
  7. I did not either and I had an online account. I've never understood what was that number (only had a case# with the I130). Is there still a way to check the status of the I751 another way or is this going to be a problem?
  8. How much time do they give you to do the biometrics? (assuming it's for the fingerprints you go through with a designated security business like in Canada)
  9. Just sent our package to the Phoenix PO Box today. Hopefully we get the extension letter soon and be done for now 🤞.
  10. We showed evidence in the CR-1 process (all the way back from marriage and before), would it make sense to show evidence from the date the conditional resident entered the US? Just trying to see how far back people usually go considering that some evidence was already given to USCIS for a prior application (CR-1 in our case).
  11. Looks like you have strong evidence, we 're planning to send our package next month. Do you give all the monthly bank statements (since your spouse is in the US) or just the most recent one before sending the package? I'm also curious how many pages is your package, I worry ours is going to be too big.
