Our Story
Have you seen "How Stella Got Her Groove Back"? Well, I went to Jamaica on a vacation w/ sisters met the love of my life the 2nd night after watching him perform on stage at Roots Bamboo. (a beach party in Negril) We were inseparable the remainder of my stay. I was skeptical about a long distance relationship. But we survived all the obstacles of the long distance relationship for over 2 years. Calling cards became our friends and the airlines should know me personally, I couldn't manage not seeing my baby. He proposed finally, and as of today (9/9/07) we've been married 6 months and 12 days. Maxi is not here with me yet we're now going through the journey of obtaining a K3 visa. We're always positive. Well most of the time. I will admit I am becoming impatient. His old handwritten birth certificate held up the process for the past month and a half. Thanks to Hurricane Dean I have yet to receive the copies I requested back in July. (quoted 2-4 week delivery time). For all of you who are in the process of obtaining a visa, I advise you to pray, pray, pray because the waiting can get the best of you. In the meantime and between time, I'm going to visit my wonderful husband in Jamaica!!!!!!
