  1. Extension Letter and Receipt showed up in USCIS dated 9/19. Everything was delivered on the 11th and processed on 12th so things must be running behind. REALLY hoping we get the Extension letter this week before we fly out on the 2nd.
  2. Just happened to log into USCIS and its been updated "Case received and notice was sent" Hope that includes the extension letter!
  3. This is advice I wish we would have seen and followed for sure! It looks like based upon the timelines on here turn around has been super quick to get NOA within a few days after filing. Hoping for the best here, We've got 19 days
  4. We tried to use the card authorization form and it flagged as fraud. (Thanks Vystar!) We didn't get any rejection notices or anything but we went ahead and mailed out a new package on 9/11/23 with a cashiers check overnight. Her green card expires on the 13th of October and we're leaving for a trip to Turkey on the 2nd. So we really had no time to wait around. 9/11/23 Mailed via UPS Overnight 9/12/23 Arrived at Elgin Lockbox I hope to god we get the extension notice before the 2nd. It seems based on other posts people are getting them within 10-12 days?
  5. Alisa had her interview today, Unfortunately I was unable to be there as I'm slammed with a huge project at work. She went through the line pretty quickly, handed over I-134, Got her finger prints, Medical exam results, DS160, Visa fee reciept, and Interview Confirmation. She was asked for original birth certificate and she let them know she forgot which she was told the CO would give her instructions to drop off the documents "The quicker the better" When it was her turn she went to window for interview with CO, who she said was really friendly with a really strong american accent speaking russian. He then asked: Where did we meet? Where do you work now? What is your education? Were you married before? When did we start talking? When was the first time we met in person? What is your fiances Career? Whats the name of the company fiance work for? After this he started checking all of our logs and pictures and all the evidence of our relationship we provided She brought up the fact that she didn't have her original birth certificate with her currently and asked him about the instructions the first woman mentioned. He told her that if she had her birth certificate things would have been done now. Due to this the CO still said "All things look good" but they kept her passport, and gave her a 221g White form for the original birth certificate. She immediately ran home to get the original and dropped it off in the box in an envelope with our details on it within like 20 minutes. Now we're concerned because it looked like things were about to be approved but due to receiving the 221g and having to drop off the original of her birth certificate, we're about to experience huge delays or get a denial. Any advice? EDIT: Apparently stabled something to her passport at the end and kept the passport?
