Paying the mortgage and also keeping your job while out of the country for 6 weeks is enough proof of maintaining ties, also bills are another proof. 6 weeks is not a lot of time to worry about, focus on studying for your interview and you may wanna have some sort of proof of your dad’s passing added to your file as proof too. There is not much to worry about here. Sorry for your loss and good luck.

This letter simply means that since you are now a U.S. citizen, they took you off the queue and approved your I130 petition. You are now at the National visa center stage, follow the instructions on this email they sent and also respond to the RFE and wait for further instructions from them, the email itself is self explanatory so do not panic, you are in the right direction and congratulations on becoming a citizen.

That is not an issue, they always focus more on taking your expired green card or unexpired green card on oath ceremony day. Good luck on your interview.

This happened to me. My interview was actually cancelled few hours before the interview. Reason was that my file was not with them. I got another interview after a little bit over a month. They will definitely send a mail to you when you will be rescheduled. Don’t think too much about it.

Manslaughter, voluntary or involuntary is a crime against moral turpitude. You being young and have never met him and are talking about marriage is sketchy. We see a lot of felons in the USA looking for an easy way out and you may be a victim of such. Just like some people mentioned here, there is more ahead than just trying to get here and work and live. Being a felon in the USA is challenging and you must be ready mentally to support him. Study him, don't hurry into something which you know you will be the one spending in almost everything, we see a lot of such cases here everyday, talk to family and friends, open up before you venture into this, no parent will want to hear about this kind of adventure when it must have taken a sad turn already. I am not judging you, just being straight forward here.

Your lawyer is wrong, you are free to apply, I have a friend who had more stays out of the US than you do and she had no problem naturalizing. Just make sure you provide enough proof of ongoing marriage when filing.

Your passport will be stamped upon entry into the USA and that will serve as proof of your permanent residency for up to a year or till when you receive your physical green card. Unless your passport is stamped, you are technically not allowed to work in the USA, so I will advise you get your passport stamped (endorsed) then you can send out your job applications.

My spouse lost hers in 2016 and did not realize until my interview day, was never asked for it, we did a police report on it and till my citizenship, it was never brought up. We just know it's somewhere around the house. So you should be fine with the lost certificate receipt.

Personally, I don't think pre clearance is a good idea as they may easily deny you boarding your flight, since you will still be home in Ireland it may be easier for them to tell you to start the journey afresh by reapplying for your green card immigration process. Hop in a plane, don't panic, do not surrender your card while here, get all necessary documents regarding your mom's health and in case you get an NTA, you will show the immigration judge so you can get a favorable outcome. -
I will suggest you try to get an info pass and go with the certificate there and any other document that may be needed to fix it.

Most times when the co approves the visa at the embassy, the supervisor has to give the final approval and also sometimes they are doing final checks, there is nothing to worry about and you just wait for confirmation of approval and passport in hand with visa on it before you make any travel plans, congratulations in advance.

You are filing based on the 3 year rule, meaning you have to show 3 years worth of proof that you lived in marital union with your spouse, eg utilities, bank statements, insurances, basically it's almost like the documentation for removal of condition, but it needs to be up to date, Pictures, etc select random bills, if you started living with your husband say in june 2020, put like 3 receipts of that year, like few more receipts for random years that is, 2020,2021,2022,2023, you don't need a tone of these, just few. They will need proof of comingling and living together in marital union, lease / rent, life insurance showing each others as beneficiary, health insurance too, kids' birth certificates of pet ownership docs, if you removed conditions and submitted these, make sure you submit them again and add the recent ones you got after submission of I751. You have a lot of resources on this forum to look from.

Nowadays a lot of people do what has just been described by op, live like room mates. If USCIS went that route of asking what he wore last night, it’s because they must have visited the area and maybe must have spoken to neighbors before interview was done and they may conduct more visits. This is definitely not looking good for op, very few married couples will live in separate rooms and op’s reason for this is "since Covid". Take to the advises here and start getting ready for a lawyer in case things go deeper south.

Proof of citizenship you can use your passport too,so include your passport as a second proof of citizenship so you have a back up in case they somehow still see a mix up in your birth certificate.
