    She didn't have a flight booked. But she needed the Passport for an ID. (Oddly, she couldn't even get a state ID because they wouldn't accept her birth certificate and naturalization papers) ... and well, she was excited to get US Passport.

    Who? The State Department? Not even sure how to contact them. I'll check online. Yeah, it's pretty devastating for her. She's very not happy.

    So, after my wife was naturalized, she sent in her papers to get her passport. That was received. (She's so excited). However, when the passport agency sent back her naturalization document, it was practically destroyed by rain. (Water damage). She devastated. I know you can get a replacement for a few hundred dollars ($600 or $700 I think). Has this happened to anyone else? Do I have any other options? Thank you.

    It feels quite weird to know I won't need to come to this site for advice on our own situation anymore. However I'll still be here to help others navigate this journey (time to give back).     After such a long journey the day is here. My wife passed her citizenship exam and we are awaiting the naturalization ceremony. I am so excited for her !

    I'm still trying to figure this out. She seems to like being spoon fed information. I'm a university adjunct, so I'm used to seeing lots of learning styles. Yet, I'm having a hard time with figuring her out. I've given her some online content that others have suggested her. She seems to be watching it over and over, and some of it is sticking. I have high hopes !! If she passes this, I need to get her to learn the local driving laws so she can get a permit.

    According to USCIS, my wife has about a 4 month window before her N-400 interview. She's worried about the citizenship quiz. I gave her applications to go through the questions, but now she's asking me for resources to study that information (as opposed to just learning the answers). Does anyone know of a resource I can give her? Thanks in advance.
