Received I 130 notice for my mom and dad on 19th september 2017. On 16th April 2018, received letter asking for proof of my relationship with mom and dad as my birth certificate of 1981 did not carry my name. I had supplied a lot of supporting documents that prove my relationship viz; school certificate, indian passport copy that carried names of parents, my US marriage licence that carries parents names, affidavit from parents. They want either name on birth certificate or DNA finger printing. Mom and dad got my birth certificate that carries my name and sent it to them.On 21st May, they posted its receipt on case status stating that we will begin work on my case again. Can any body guide how long they will take. My parents are in India..
