I started emailing and calling my fiancee, Julia, in 2004 after being introduced by Ukrainian friends living nearby. We quickly became close and when my Ukrainian friends and i went to Ukraine in 2005, i spent most of my time with Julia and we started dating.
In 2006 during another visit to Ukraine, we became engaged. Before the engagement we tried twice to get a tourist visa for her but were unsuccessfull. But through the pain of the long distance, the rejections, and over 2 years of waiting, hopefully our dream to be united forever will come true soon!
