Hi Everyone, I am U.S Citizen and I applied Spouse Visa for my husband in November, 2016. Immigration Visa Case was created and forwarded to National Visa Center on 23-FEB-2017. My husband had his embassy interviewed on October 4th, 2017. As per interview his passport was being kept by U.S Consulate in Islamabad, Pakistan. We were told to follow up our case status on Ceac.state.gov website. On this website case shows under Administrative Processing. And it has the date when the case was created which is 23-FEB-2017 and last update was on 22-MAR-2018. Furthermore, on case status window, there is a paragraph on Administrative Processing, which says, “Your visa case is currently undergoing Administrative Processing and can take 60 days for this Administrative Processing to over.” After 60 days we follow up with U.S. Consulate via email many times to obtain the Visa status, and the last updates were on ceac.state.gov website was on 22-MAR-2018. However, it has been 8 months since my husband’s embassy interviewed has done and his case has been held in processing. We have provided all additional required documents and we still eagerly waiting to get his visa issued. Now it is very frustrating and depressing moment for my husband and myself. please kindly advice to speed up the process. Thanks!
