  1. Hello group I'm wondering if anyone knows how long it takes for USCIS to send an approved and issued I-131 Reentry permit to the US Embassy in Manila Philippines? It was approved on November 20 2024 and no tracking number was available after we recived the approval notice at the US address the permit was to initially be sent to the Embassy cause I was in the Philippines at the time and was planning to be there when the permit arrived I have since had to return to the US and still will use the permit for a later date. I called the Embassy many times and noone seems to know where the permit is USCIS says I can reapply and pay the fee over to have it reissued and it will take another year or so for approval has anyone been through this issue?
  2. Thank you . I'd also like to ask how long will the Reentry Permit be valid for is it 2 years maximum or 1 year maximum if she leaves the last week of November I'd say she could be back as soon as September 24?
  3. Hello and Thanks for you speedy reply they have decided to reuse her Biometrics she applied in September around the 28 and her flight was scheduled for late November so she really didn't have a lot of time to wait for the Biometrics appointment we did attempt to ask for an expedite on the Biometrics but they refused to but a few days later they sent a NOA saying Biometrics were re used so this means shes safe to leave right? Also we did opt to have the Reentry permit sent to the Embassy in her country.
  4. Hello group has anyone had to file an I-131 and had it mailed to the US EMBASSY in Manila Philippines? My wife will leave the USA for a family medical reason she holds a 10 year PRC she will more than likely be out the USA for at least one year could be less has anyone experienced this or had any luck with getting it approved and having it delivered to an Embassy in another country if so could you please share your experience.
  5. Hello she can definitely apply but depending on her country of citizenship and if you already have filed for Spouse visa I'd say the tourist visa will probably get denied and there are reasons for this denial.
