Our Story
Ok hmmmm, we met online on a site called MYSPACE.com. we met at first in the forums, so we had a head start in the similar interests we share lol. I pm'd Scarlet first and introduced myself, and asked her a load of questions relating to the forum we met on. we were maybe writing 3 emails a day to each other from the start, quite a lot, but it didnt seem like it at the time. One thing led to another and we ended up admitting to each other that we had crushes, thankfully we both felt the same way or it could have been awkward. we then started talking about vacations and where we'd like to go etc (not thinking at the time that we'd ever meet up lol) and then we eventually said "hey, why dont we meet up sometime?" and we ended up planning a road trip in the states together that would last 2 weeks and we would cover 6800 miles YES 6800 miles... i wouldnt have thought it possible. we then met up again at christmas/new year and got engaged, now were starting the daunting K1 visa process eeeeeeeek!
Update:
We're getting much nearer the end of the process than we recently thought. After having been told that we may not receive packet 4 untill the end of August... we just received it last night, July 21st!!! We're so excited! The interview date is Aug 8th, bumping up our previous guess by at least a month!!
