Our Story
I am a US Soldier and I Met Selamye in Dubai at City Center. Was crowded and I didnt wnt to wait so I asked her if i could share her table. She said no problem. We talked and we ate and before I left I asked for her number. I called a couple of days later and asked if I could take her out on a date. She agreed and we went to an Ethiopian nightclub. (I was chaperoned by two of her girlfriends). I saw her a few more times before I went to back to Bahrain where I was stationed. When I went to Bahrain we talked everyday for hours at a time. Finally after a couple of months my work put me back in UAE and I was able to really get to know my Selamye. We have been devoted to one another ever since. I flew her back to Ethiopia OCT 2005 and visited her DEC 2005 before was stationed back in the states. I have spoken to Selamye nerly everyday since we met, we decided we would like to spend our lives together. I Sent my I-129f OCT 9, it was recieved OCT 12 and I got my NOA 1 OCT 18.
