  3. That is going to be a problem....a big one. Marriage solely for immigration benefits is illegal.
  4. Her case will never get to the interview stage. The case is dead if the petitioner withdrew the I-130. Are you saying she is looking for someone just for immigration benefits?
  5. That is all you can do. You have fulfilled your obligations to withdraw the case. A visa cannot be issued without a valid I-130 and a valid I-864.
  6. If you have sent letters to USCIS, NVC, and the consulate before the visa was issued, you have done more than necessary to withdraw a case. I think you can peacefully move on and seek happiness for yourself.
  7. Your personal experience is why you paint such a broad and derogatory picture of half the country's voters? You've been watching too much MSNBC and The View.
  8. "I hear" is not a good source. Do you have links for those stories about people who were not allowed to travel from one state to another?
  9. I think you sent an incorrect fee both times. There is no longer a biometrics fee. https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/g-1055.pdf
  10. Those are wild and unfounded assumptions. Good luck on your immigration journey.

  14. Are you trying to file as Married-Filing Jointly? If so, you have to report income for the entire year, but you might be able to exclude some of the foreign income.
  15. I would suggest finding a knowledgeable tax pro for first year filing. Look for someone who knows foreign income, FBAR requirements, and foreign income exclusion.
