Met in May 1994 in Germany while Sean was in the U.S. Marines, I was there with my family with the Canadian Embassy. It was love at first sight...he proposed 1 year later, but we never ended up getting married. 11 years later, we found each other again when he came to visit in Ottawa. He then proposed (again) during a recent trip together in NYC on May 28th 2006. He is now an Officer in the U.S. Navy and will be deployed in Jan for 6 months and we plan to get married when he gets back to the US next July!
