I had gotten a copy from another VisaJourney.com user and that's why I was able to go ahead and fill out my DS-160, pay fees and schedule interview before mine actually showed up.10/16/15- Flew to Costa Rica to attend the interviews with my fiance and her son.10/19/15- Interview day!!!! All went well except we lacked a special birth certificate for my fiance's son. Fiance was approved. We went to the Registro Civil to get the "Digital Birth Certificate" and it will be ready tomorrow.10/20/15- We got the "digital birth certificate" and took it back to the embassy. They told us that her son was now approved.10/23/15- WE HAVE VISAS!!!!! Got a call first thing in the morning from the post office that they were ready for us to pick up.11/2/15 - Left Costa Rica to enter the U.S. All went well at Immigration and Customs.12/19/15- MARRIED!!!!1/28/16 - Filed for AOS and EAD.2/12/16 - NOA13/11/16 - Biometrics Appt in Vegas4/8/16 - EAD approved4/16/16 - EAD arrives4/18/16 - Green Card approved, no second interview needed4/23/16 - Conditional green cards arrive
