I was single my entire life and I am currently 43 years old. My parents strongly desired that I meet a girl and possibly get married in their lifetime. I never thought it would happen and the loneliness feeling began to overwhelm me. My mom called me one day and asked if I would be interested in talking to a girl from the Philippines who happened to be related to a waitress at a local Chinese restaurant they often ate at. I told my mom "Whatever, I guess." Then I got a friend request on Facebook from Jane. We started talking on September 30, 2014. It didn't take long for me to realize how much I loved her. She added a new aspect I had never experienced before. I told her I loved her with in the first 6 years. On February 12, I left Louisiana to visit her in the Philippines and this was the best week of my life. I also proposed to her and she accepted on February 15, 2015. I filed my I-129 f package on March 10t, and received my fist NOA on March 20th via text message. I am very happy and I love Jane with all of my heart and want to spend the rest of my life with her.
