Met online in April of 2002 through one of my wife's best friends that I knew from the chat room Paltalk. I met my wife's friend in person at a chat room cookout in Indian Trail, N.C. and she was convinced me and her friend would hit it off so we began to chat on Yahoo Messenger and then on July 4th of 2002 I drove down to coastal North Carolina. When we met, the fireworks were incredible and we hadn't even seen the 4th of July celebrations yet! We knew it was true love from the start and decided to get married in Canada and live here until retirement because of my job and good pension. Now 12 years later, here we are making the move to my wife's home State of North Carolina and still best friends.
