My boyfriend and I met in 2008 when we were both in the same history class in college. We had a mutual friend and quickly became inseparable. He's from Ireland, and that accent was irresistible. We spent the next 4 years attending separate universities about an hour apart, and took trips back to his home in Ireland every summer. After we graduated from college, he found a job in a local private bank using his OPT work/student visa. This ran out after a year, and instead of getting married, we both decided to get our Masters degrees - him in Ireland, and I in the US. We desperately want him to be able to come back to America as soon as he completes his MBA, and we are just starting the process of filing the K-1 petition. Let's hope the luck of the Irish is on our side! yes.gif
