Our Story
Farid and I decided to have him arrive on the K3 October 17th.2006. He entered the country through JFK. We then rescheduled his CR1 interview that was set for November 15th. 2006 to January 30th. 2007. The interview in January wasn't even an interview. The Consular just checked over the necessary papers and saw that one piece was missing. He told Farid to go back to Rabat and get the necessary paper have it translated and bring it back. (I was so mad! We had recieved a check list from NVC listing every required document for interview and exactly the documents they had in their possesion already. ) Now they requested a document proving how many times my husband had or had not been in jail. The next day,after turning in the additional paper, Farid inquired as to why they didn't have this one listed. They simply said it wasn't required before and they just started requesting it. Just 1 1/2 hours later they called his cell phone and asked him to come pick up his Visa. We were both very excited to have his CR1 visa complete and in hand. Praise God for his Loving Grace.
