  1. Thanks for letting me know, I thought he had to go to green card process in order to apply for citizenship after approved I-130.
  2. Hello Pushbrk, My husband is a US citizen and his child was born before he received his US citizenship. The mother of the child is already in USA and they both agreed to bring their child to the United States. Hope this information will help you and thank you so much.
  3. Hi Boiler, Thanks for trying to help us. My husband doesn’t have all child support recorded because with Cuba it was difficult to send money. Western Union was working for almost 2 years and we have a couple of receipts through western union, for that reason we need the written statement from the child’s mother and another relative.
  4. Good afternoon, My husband wants to start the process to bring his child from Cuba to USA filing Form I-130. The child is 10 years old and he was born out of wedlock. We started the application and we should submit evidence of the relationship between my husband and his child. We need to submit a written statement( Affidavit from the mother of the child and any other relative) to prove that my husband has been in the life of his son. I would like to know if anybody can share any similar written statement so i can have an idea how they should do the written statement. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
