  • Our Story
[05-29-2011] Met and fell inlove in Bahrain
    (where I work/he's on deployment)
    [07-08-2011] Became officially a 'couple'
[01-2012] Met our families and friends in the Philippines.
[02-2012] Hubby went back to US - I, Bahrain 😢
[03-2012] He asked over the phone if we can get married on our 1st year anniversary! So I guess this was when we got engaged 😄
[06-2012] Went to US (1month) to visit Hubby (and my mom)
[07-08-2012] We got married! - Virginia Beach ❤️❤️❤️
----------- Went back to Bahrain ----------
[12-2012] Spent Christmas together in the US (1month)
----------- Went back to Bahrain ----------
[03-2013] Hubby was supposed to go on deployment but his dad died 😢 so he was not able to leave.
-We then started to talk about paperwork. I told him to give me 1 more year in Bahrain so that I can pay off my debts. We had an agreement that I go visit him every 5-6 months and our plan was to apply when I get back to Bahrain right after my next visit (We're worried they might not let me in if we'll have a pending application and we might not see each other for a long time).
[08-2013] Went back to US to visit hubby but then our plans changed... we later learned that he needs to have surgery followed by endless physical therapy.
Didn't leave his side anymore... I resigned from work and paid my debts using the indemnity I got. I may be broke but money doesn't matter, my husband needs me.

    So here goes our journey...

[11-2013] Started with the Medical part
    - Found a designated Civil Surgeon 30 mins away - $400 fee w/o vaccines and syphilis test
    - Completed vaccines on base and TB test (negative)
[12-2013] Syphilis test (waited a month for the results I guess because of the holidays)
[01-10-2014] Submitted vaccine report and syphilis test result to the Civil Surgeon
    - They gave me another TB test, they said the test should be done by them
[01-13-2014] TB test came out positive 😭 (weird or what!)
    [01-14-2014] Had a chest X-ray
[01-16-2014] Went back to the CS. He told me what might have caused the 2nd test to come out positive, explained that my Xray was clear and that I have LTB (latent TB, not contageous) and that I am not sick, I just have the bacillus and that I am good to go. He said that he just needs to treat me with medications for 6 months (no wine for 6 months 😜)
He wrote a note on the med exam form that I will undergo treatment and he signed it! He told us to come back the next day.
[01-17-2014] Got the sealed envelope from the CS!
    [02-24-2014] Found out we're pregnant!
[03-14-2014] Lost our baby 😢 our angel was 8 weeks and 5 days
