    I ask because at the beginning when you file a petition there is an opportunity to file for AOS (Adjustment Of Status ) and complete the process while staying in the US which includes the interview. Just didn't know if if there is anything similar available at this stage.

    Hi My parents have received email from NVC that they will be notified an interview date at the consulate in India soon.My parents also have a multiple entry visitor visa in hand and they planned on visiting us next month( round trip tickets already booked) as we had a new baby.We did not expect the processing to happen so fast.Question is: 1) Can they schedule the interview for a later date in India and travel next month under visiting visa as the tickets are already booked? 2) Or at this stage can the interview be done here in the US after their arrival? Any thoughts or inputs are appreciated. Thank You!
