Our Story
Hassan and I met in pen/pal site. We emailed for several months and eventually began chatting through yahoo messenger. We fell in love and began planning my trip to Morocco. I went in March 2003 for 15 days. Since we didnt have time to wed legally there we decided to have a religious ceremony instead. We had a big wedding on April 5, 2003 and traveled south on our honeymoon. I came home filed the I-129 visa papers. I returned to Morocco in September 2003 and when I returned home I found our approval notice in the mail. He had his interview in December and arrived in the US December 27, 2003. We had a civil ceremony that very night to make our marriage legal here and have been happily together ever since. We are going in for our AOS interview August 24, 2005. Hassan received his citizenship in Feb. 2009.
