Hi Everyone!....I always laugh at being tagged as a 'Newbie'....
As This is my SECOND attempt at going through this process! (And you all thought once was hard!)
Stacie and I met On-Line when I was finishing my first stay in the USA. I had been married to a girl in Virginia for 3 Years. No green card though as there was a 7 month delay between filing our 485 and receiving our 1st NOA. In the end this delay caused the process to outlive the Marriage, which just didn't hold up under the strain of alot of things, least of all the immigration process.
THE GOOD NEWS IS....If I hadn't gone through everything I did, then Stacie and I wouldn't have been at that place in time and would have never met. So we both truly believe that this was the way things were supposed to be.
My how things have changed since 2003! The fees have gone up even thought the wait has doubled. (Only 3 months from I129F application to K1 Visa in 2003!).
I have spent the last 6 months (September 2007-March 2008) on an extended visit to Ohio, to spend time with Stacie (with a 3 week return to the UK over Xmas). We now patiently await our chance to be together forever.
