we are a couple of drum corps bums, met on tour with the Kiwanis Kavaliers in the summer of 2000..and have been together since, despite me living in Ontario and he in Alabama. Needless to say we are dying for all this crap to be over with.

may 2000 - met on the way to Kavaliers camp in buffalo
august 2001 - engaged just before DCI finals in buffalo
november 2004 - married in the woods in peterborough, ON
dec 22/04 -- sent in I-130 to TSC
jan 05/05 -- recieved by TSC
jan 10/05 -- sent back to AL ...wrong fee ...oops they changed
jan 19/05 -- I-130 sent back to TSC
jan 26/05 -- pkg. sent to CSC :) yesss
feb 04/05 -- NOA 1 recieved
feb 07/05 -- I-129 pkg. sent to Chicago
feb 18/05 -- I-129 NOA 1 recieved; I-130 touched
feb 22/05 -- I-129 touched
feb 25/05 -- I-129 touched
mar 23/05 -- RFE sent for I-130 (for marriage certificate)
apr 21/05 -- marriage certificate accepted
apr 29/05 -- case approved!!!! (took 4 mos, not too shabby)
may 06/05 -- recieved notice of approval
may 19/05 -- NVC assigns case number
jun 06/05 -- choice of agent/address form recieved
-- I-864 bill recieved
jun 10/05 -- NVC has agent/addy form in computey
jun 14/05 -- I-129F for K3 case approved ...ookaay..we'd sort of abandoned this!
jun 23/05 -- IV fee bill recieved and sent in; notice from NVC that our K3 file has been sent to Montreal
july 05/05 -- recieved ds-230 and checklist from montreal (K3)
july 07/05 -- sent back ds-230 part one and checklist
july 13/05 -- medical exam/police check done
july 25/05 -- received I-864
july 28/05 -- received DS-230 part 1 etc for CR-1
.....and this waiting game continues ...
