2006 - Met on a roleplay/writing site and became friends
2008 - Decided to start a relationship
Between then and 2011 we had been back and forth to visit each other enough times that it equaled 2 years together in person. Eventually our I-129F was approved (236 days) and we were married on Oct. 25th, 2012. We're very excited to be together without having to leave each other anymore. =)
