Loida lives near Cebu City where she has her own store and small Internet Cafe. Centered into her life are her children and church. Ed who's retired military and lives in Oregon, has a career with Intel Corporation in the semiconductor Industry. In 2009, A chance meeting, a simple hello online and then one of us (we wont tell who) making an exception to their "rule" about chatting turned these two strangers (Loida and Ed) into friends... A great friendship which blossomed into future plans for marriage.
Ed's wanted for decades to get back to the simple life he knew when living in the Philippines of the 1980"s. He knows and enjoys the tabo tabo, He doesn't mind fetching water and is very in-tune with the peoples and the cultures of the Filipino society. Loidas wanted to have a complete family and find someone with love, courtesy, care, and commitment to her along with doing whats right. Church is important to her and she considers life more blessed when both are happy. her thoughts are " di bale na laging saging basta labing labing"
Both are willing to throw it all away and move to the other, and Both are also willing to stay and let the other move to them. This is the journey of two very good people coming together.
