Our Story
I was finished with college and instead of going for my Master's like everybody else, I decided to travel for an indefinite amount of time. I decided to go to Costa Rica. I met Edgar (my spouse) a couple months into my trip through mutual friends I was working with. I stayed in the area where he lived after that and we got to know each other pretty well. After 6 months, the time came for me to go home, since I was a US Permanent Resident at the time ( I was born and raised in Canada). We promised each other we would see each other again. I came back to the US and applied for my Naturalization and worked and saved money for another six months, staying loyal and in touch with Edgar every day. I went back to Costa Rica as soon as I had an American passport. We lived togther for 3 months and go married after that. We continued to live together for 6 more months. I realized I needed to go back to school in order to get my life together and secure a better future for Edgar and I. So here I am, back in the US applying to school and working and trying hard not to crumble with the pressure and fear of never being successful in bringing Edgar here while trying to survive until I finish school and have a good job. I need all the help I can get, I don't even know where to start!!!
