We met in May of 2007 online through a mutual friend and became friends. The relationship developed into something more and in November of 2008 I flew to the UK and we met in person for the first time. We were just as in love and comfortable with each other in person as we were online. After that we both traveled back and forth "across the pond" visiting each other. He flew to the States 10 times and I flew to the UK 8 times. In between we would "live"0 with each other via Skype staying connected 24/7... literally!
We wanted to get married for a long time but didn't know how to go about it. Finally in late December early January of 2011 we did the research here on VJ and sent off for our K1. After all the waiting and worrying Jock had his interview on July 13th and was approved. He flew into New York JFK on July 29th 2011 and we were married on August 6th 2011! Since then we have lived happily together and went through the AOS process and we are now awaiting his his 10 year greencard after filing for ROC. If it wasn't for this website I doubt things we be where they are today!
