Why can't you note it as additional information in Part 14?

US citizen thru father born in wedlock though making assumption he meets residency requirement which seems likely. No idea on Canadian laws.

As others have said, there is nothing illegal about her giving birth in the US and the bababy likely will be a citizen no matter where they are born. Though her entering the country with a pending CR-1 may very well be denied. However, it likely is a good idea to add her to your insurance anyway so she has coverage when she is in the US. When in Canada she would be covered by her Canadian insurance though if you ever file a claim list her Canadian insurance first and then yours second. The insurance companies will figure out who covers what.

My Q2 visa was issued in I believe 2015 so this information is a little old but it is a Q2 10 - Year Multi-entry. You will need a letter of invitation from a relative of your wife's living in China. I would apply for the Q2 but Ryan's experience doesn't particularly surprise me. I also lived in China for two years and at the time was applying with my US citizens daughter . My wife remains a Chinese citizen green card holder. Given you have never been to China, that might be a factor. So apply for the Q2 and see what they do?

I submitted it after close of business on the 12th so really two days but likely this was all processed electronically and no actual person even looked at it. Like I said almost too fast but better than the alternative. To be clear this was online.

Wow, another data point. Card Is Being Produced April 14, 2023 We received your Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card, and sent you a receipt notice. April 13, 2023 We are actively reviewing your Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card. Our records showed nothing is outstanding at this time. April 13, 2023 The card does not actually expire until October, if I knew this would have happened I would have waited. We just entered from out of the country through DFW in February. All of us (3 US Citizens, 1 Green Card Holder) entered solely by biometric facial recognition so I wonder if that was enough to verify the biometrics for the green card. I guess I shouldn't complain too much.

Any idea why they did not need to be biometrics?

Has anyone had success in transferring money to China? We have used Xoom in the past (Pre-Covid) and just tried two transactions that were both cancelled. Looking to transfer around $1000. Any suggestions?
