This is an AOS question not a K-1 Visa question so belongs in the AOS forum.

SSN is not required to file for AOS.

In order to get SSN after K-1 I-94 expires, you need to have EAD card or Green-Card, SSA office will not issue SSN with out proof of work authorization from Homeland Security.

I-751 is for lifting conditions on a conditional green-card, it sounds like you have not received green-card yet.

The FAQ, and Guides spell out what to do at the various stages of immigrations.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

If your I-94 is expired you cant file for SSN and SSN is not requirement for filing of adjustment of Status. You have to apply for AOS first and get your conditional Green Card before you can file for I-751.
