EAD...What should I do?

Hi guys,

As you can see on my signature below, my receipt date for EAD is 01/09/06 and already had my biometrics. I check case status online on USCIS website, my email and mailbox everyday, but I didn't get any update or my EAD yet and it's been more than 90 days, so I made an appointment thru InfoPass for Interim EAD card. When I went to local office, they checked my status and said, my EAD is already approved and been mailed, but they can't verify when it was approved or mailed. Also said, I should call to NCSC and ask them for any detail or update. I punched my case number on the phone and automated system keep saying my application was received on blabla...we will mail you a decision....blabla... you know what that is. I've tried hundred times, but I never get a chance to talk to actual person.

Anyway, their system still says my application is on process, and local office says my EAD is already approved. I have no idea what should I do, should I make another appointment thru InfoPass and ask them again? Green card is not a big issue right now, but I need something to show them that I can legally work for any employer in the US cause I'm getting some job interviews.

If you have any exprience like this or have any idea, please share with me.

Thank you in advance!

I am (sort of) in the same boat -- I applied for my AOS, EAD and AP at the same time; yet have only got the AP at this stage. I did biometrics for both AOS and EAD on the same day, and have my AOS interview in 1.5 weeks.

But according to USCIS.gov, my EAD hasn't been updated since 03/10 (when I gave biometrics). Interestingly, my AOS hasn't changed since then either; even though I've since been notified of my impending interview.

Oh well! Best of luck with your applications...

If it goes past 90 days and not card you could try an info pass.

Get an infopass appointment.

My EAD was approved 2 months before the 90 days was up. I went to inquire, got the prints done the same day and had the card in 2 weeks.

Also, you can't assume that one hand knows what the other is doing, let alone different departments. The green card might be on its way. So is winter
