Situation: I am a US Citizen who have filed for PR for my parents who live in India now. I have asked to adjust the status in Chennai, India.

I have file for I-130 4 months ago. Today, I got the notification to send $70 for I-864 pre-processing fee.

I just mailed the fee for $70 for I-864 pre-processing fee and will mail the DS-3032 next week after I get it from my mother from India.

For the Form DS-3032, I have told my mother to use my USA address and not to nominate any one since I am doing this.

Questions are:

1) What are the next steps and estimate time frame?

2) What is IV bill and when it will be generated?

3) When they will send the I-864 packet? Or do I need to file?

4) When will I get the DS-230 or my parents get the DS-230?

Please help.

Thx

Mike

Please get yourself familiar with these steps with NVC. I know you are petitioning for your mother, however the process to be taken for your case is the same process as the CR1/ IR1

NVC Process

I have also replied to one of your post and noted the James Shorcut v2.0. The link is on my signature, please click on that. There's a lot of information on there that will answer most of your questions.

Good luck Mike!
