Hey guys, how come am still getting touched after I got approved on the 14th?

Sept-14-07 I-130 APPROVED!!!!..after 100 days!

Jan-04-08 NVC CASE COMPLETE

Congrats on your NOA2.

They may be moving your case to NVC? I dunno. But it took ~3 weeks for our case to get from USCIS to the NVC.

I-130: 03/26/2007-07/02/2007 at NSC

NVC: 07/20/2007-11/08/2007

Interview at Montreal Consulate: 01/18/2008

(2 months' additional security checks)

Received Green Card: 05/12/2008

Removal of Conditions

USCIS is preparing all your docs to be sent to NVC, who knows what else can they consider as "touch". Don't worry, once it's approve it looks good ahead! :thumbs:

Once the case entered the NVC, they will give u a MNL case #. We got mine 2 months after the NOA2. Then thats the start of the NVC journey. Goodluck to us. :)

No, once the file has moved to the NVC there is no online source to check what's happening.

They have an auto assistant or you can speak to an operator to check the status of your case.

press 1, 5 - to speak to an operator

why are some people getting approved so much faster than others? I have seen march people and april people (like myself) not yet approved... yet I see people in July and August (1 person) already getting approved for the I-130... :crying: :crying: :crying: now that is NOT FAIR... so just because we sent our application in when they @#(*(% up their system, it means we have to wait much longer? (during the months of march - may, they didn't do #######)...

Hey guys, how come am still getting touched after I got approved on the 14th?

I got my approval notice on Sept 5th that my K3 app was approved. I called them last Thurs and asked the status and was told that it was sent to the mailroom on Sept 4th to be sent to NVC and was still sitting there. I also got a touch today so hopefully they are finally sending the approvals on.
