Hey VJers!!!

So I keep reading about how folks here check the USCIS site for their individual case processing times, how do you do that? when I check my case online, all I get is the one page that shows our pending case #, date received, that it is at the CSC and has been since 7/13/07, etc but there is no further way to see where I am on any list! I read a post on VJ this morning saying that she was number 299 on the processing list, what does that mean??? I want to know my status if possible! Help!!! :help:

Thanks,

Sara

Sara, that is all you get. Sometimes the date will change, that is what is called a touch.

I have no idea what the 299 is but there is no way to know where you are in processing times. You can roughly use other filer's timelines as a guesstimate.

The number 229 comes from a list that someone extracted from the Immigration Timelines section of VJ. You can go to the Immigration Timelines section and click on K1 Visas and query and list all of the timeline data. You can sort the data by the column headings, specify the number of rows to return, and select a specific Country or all Countries.

It can be a little disheartening to look at when you see all of that data, or it can be re-assuring that you are not alone in the long wait...

If you *really* want to see it and you have trouble figuring it out let me know and I am willing to help.

Sara,

You're not on the CSC list as of yet because your timeline was updated after I posted it. I will probably post an update either Monday or Tuesday night, in which you will get a number.

And the list is only of people who fill out their timeline on visajourney. there are plenty who dont even know abotu this site and are in the process. but at least it gives you a ball park figure.
