TSC Cheque Cashing

Hi all,

I am starting to panic a little bit. Sent in the I-751 to TSC by certified mail and it was received by them July 6.

As of today, July 17th, they have still not cashed my cheque or sent me any notice of receipt.

Is this normal, slow, what? I am getting the nasty feeling that I will never hear anything then have to resubmit (with wife's green card expired) at the new wonderful prices.

Please let me know if I should continue to freak out, or chill. Also if there are any ways to find out if they have my I-751 I would appreciate it.

Remain calm, it can take a few weeks to process.

You did mail the package using a trackable method, like priority mail, certified, with receipt card?

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

I sure wish it wasn't so, but our situation is the same.

I-129F mailed certified July 6

USPS site shows delivery at CSC on July 10

As of today (July 17) - Check not cashed, no mail or email.

So starts the long process.....ugh!

There will be a backlog due to a holiday week (July 4) and a higher than normal volume of filers trying to beat the fee increase.

04/03/07 I-751 received at 1:08pm and signed for by Paul E. Novak Jr. Center Director (day 1)

05/02/07 Check finally clears my bank - appears to have been processed on 4/30 by VSC (day 30)

05/04/07 Received BLUE Finger Print Receipt Notification (day 32)

05/17/07 Received NOA1 dated 5/9/07(day 45)

05/18/07 Received ASC Appointment Notice dated 5/14/07 for June 1st (day 46)

06/01/07 Biometric Appointment today @ 2:00 (day 60)

06/03/07 "Touched" (day 62)

10/26/07 "Card Production Ordered" (217 days from the day the application received and 172 days from NOA1)

10/30/07 Touched again

10/31/07 Received Notice of Removal of Conditional Basis of Lawful Permanent Residence letter, signed by Paul E Novak Jr.

10/31/07 Touched again - if we get touched again does that count as harassment?

11/05/07 10 year green card arrives! (227 days)

It took like 3 weeks for my cheque to be cleared, don't worry they will take your money, that is for sure.

I always recomend to the forists to be patient (maybe to see if I convince myself of it), this process will take all your patience. And who knows maybe your case is going to be one of those that are done in 3 months. Good luck !
