I-94 # AND A # THE SAME?

For a K-1 Visa, is the A number and the I-94 number the same? The number that was handwritten on the I-94 is the same number that is on the I-797. Today i talked to someone and they said the A number is different from the I-94 number.

They are different... the I-94 number is the one that is pre-printed on the form, on the top left if I remember right... the A# might be on your visa, and should be on the NOA2 for the I-129F as well.

Yes they are different!! I wish I was at home to tell you exactly where it is!

Your I-94 number of course is on that little peice of paper they stapled in your passport when you crossed the border (not sure if your A number is on that also)

But you can get your A number off any of the documents USCIS has sent you!

I-94 number is pre-printed number on the I-94 card, A# may be written on the back of the I-94 card, and can also be found above the beneficiary's name on NOA2 I-129F.
