VANCOUVER INTERVIEW

I recently had my interview at the Vancouver embassy and a pleasent thing it was too,my wife and I got there early like 9-15 for our 10-00 time slot,so she says Ill go to Starbucks 10mtrs away and grab coffee 5 minutes later she returns to see me being ushered in ........so coffee in bin and up we go to floor 20,lots of non immigrant peeps there but only me and one other for K visa so sits down a couple of minutes go by we get called to window to check all our stuff is correct.......which it is then told to sit back down and wait to be called to number 5 window and after 20 minutes up we got went to window had interview with really nice guy,laughing and joking with us,he got called away mid interview and when he came back must have said sorry 5/10 times for getting called away,anyways I got denied for CMT but as he was about to explain about filing waiver I stopped him and said here you go all ready done,he looked at it cracked another joke or two and told me you will have to get your prints done,now normally that would mean making another appointment but give me a moment...........off he goes comes back a little later and says ok get you prints done today and we can get your waiver off right away........so went for a bite to eat came back nice girl took prints,then I asked her a question which she could not answer so she got hold of guy handling my case and helped me out and then gave me his e-mail addy and phone number at the embassy told me he would be intouch as soon as they heard anything,and if I had anything else I wanted to know just get in touch with him........so yep it was a good expirence all round I could not find any fault at all......everyone friendly and helpful so if you interview there dont worry its cool :thumbs:

Oh on another note I traveled fron U.K. for interview 5500 miles .........record maybe for interview?

Apr 26 2006 received a response from CSC, another response in 60 days (ahhhhh!!!)

Jun 19, 2006 I-485 Touched

Jun 20, 2006 I-485 Touched

July 3, 2006 emailed CSC again, no response given in the allotted 60 days time frame.

July 27, 2006 received a response from CSC, another response will be given in 30 days.. ha ha ha.

Sept 29 2006 3rd year Anniversay

October 13, 2006 Immigration Interview - Need to return with Long Form Birth Certificate

October 13, 2006 Long Form Birth Cert ordered with expediated shipping

October 18, 2006 Birth Cert Received

October 19, 2006 2nd Immigration Interview - APPROVED

5-20 business days for the Green Card to arrive, maybe I'll be back to see my family before Christmas?

I'm the lady who had coffee with your wife a couple of weeks ago and lives in Orting, near Sumner, WA.

My daughter and I both went through the Vancouver consulate and we also found them to be very friendly and helpful. I'm glad to hear your experience with them went smoothly and that you are well on your way to getting to the U.S.

When you get to the U.S., my husband and I will definitely have to get together with you and your wife for coffee/drinks/dinner or whatever.

Looking forward to hearing from C. about any progress in your case.

Good luck and hopefully you won't have to wait long for your entry into the U.S.

Okay, I have to ask...why did you fly all the way to Canada for the interview? I'm sorry, you've just piqued my curiosity here. :lol:

Well we went through Vancouver as that was the place we got married,on a wet Sept day in the park in Victoria..............oh 10,000 miles,hum well if you add my round trip up its 11,000 but if yours was one way you beat me.......bah!!!!!!!!!!!
